We are looking for a Systems Support Officer to join our Student and Academic Administration team, providing dedicated software support to staff and students on our student records system, SITS and contributing to our continuous improvement model. The postholder will be required to work with stakeholders and Information Technology Services to deliver key projects university wide developing new, innovative ideas to enhance the digital journey for staff and students.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Registry the SITS Support team is accountable for providing day to day support on the student record system across academic and professional services. You will work with colleagues on undertaking upgrades and enhancements to the Tribal SITS suite of products and other applications, as well as investigation of system and integrations issues. You will support our Systems (SITS) Developer in delivering best practices for user experience and performance.
Following a period of training and hands on experience, skills will be assessed with the potential to progress into a Systems (SITS) Developer role, grade 6., The post will be based at our York Campus, with the flexibility of working from home. There will be expectation that you are able to work in the office as and when required for projects and to attend in person meetings.
We are looking for a skilled problem solver with excellent IT skills and experience of working with large databases, you will have the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders as well as being motivated to work independently with high attention to detail., Disability Confident
