As a Civil Enforcement Officer, you will ensure effective enforcement of parking regulations within on-street areas of the Borough and Car Parks.
You will be the public face of the Council, promoting good relations with the community and representing the organisation professionally at all times. School enforcement is a key part of the service, and patrols take place morning and afternoon daily.
There are two shifts consisting of 06:45 to 15:09 and 10:45 to 19:09. One week you will do the early shift, and the following week the later shift. You will work 5 days out of 7, including some weekends and Bank Holidays. One hour for lunch is provided. A full uniform, including footwear, and full PPE for safety will be supplied. Once full training is complete with a buddy, you will then be assigned an area to patrol that will change each day.
