PAYROLL ASSISTANT
Salary - Up to £32K with Hybrid working
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Assistant to join a dynamic and forward-thinking company that operates globally, with a head office in the EU. The Payroll Assistant will play a crucial role in managing payroll processes for a large workforce, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
The Payroll Assistant will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, managing expenses, and contributing to various projects aimed at improving payroll operations. This role offers a unique chance to work closely with the HR team, fostering collaboration and innovation in payroll practices.
Responsibilities
1. Manage payroll processes for up to 2,500 employees, including new joiners and leavers.
2. Handle manual calculations, FPS, and EPS submissions.
3. Oversee expense claims, including mileage, entertainment, and travel costs.
4. Collaborate with the HR team to address payroll queries and improve communication.
5. Participate in projects aimed at reducing SLAs and enhancing payroll systems.
Skills and Attributes
1. Strong experience in payroll processing and related systems.
2. Proficient in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
3. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
4. Inquisitive mindset with a focus on process improvements.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
