We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Manager to join our Pharmacy team at HM Doncaster, a category B Prison located in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
In this role you will have the opportunity to provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without having to compromise on efficiency and quality.
Hours
Monday to Fri - 08:00 - 16:00
Salary
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £48,741 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK on a permanent basis and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
What you'll be doing
As a Pharmacy Manager, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Plan, organise and deliver all pharmacy operational services including dispensary services and treatment rooms
* Lead the team of pharmacy support workers in the day to day provision of pharmacy services.
* Work with the Pharmacist to ensure the service is represented by staff in a professional manner at all times.
* Promote a safe service and work closely with all Prison Healthcare Team members to meet the needs of patients

Qualifications & Experience required
* GPhC registered Pharmacy Technician
* Management and leadership experience (desirable)
* Procurement and audit experience (desirable)
* Relevant post qualifying experience working within a pharmacy environment
* Evidence of continuing professional development
* Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
