You will be responsible for classes of 5-10 students. Working alongside classroom support staff and on site professionals, you will create tailored teaching material, adjust lessons and tasks to make them accessible to each student. Your role as SEN Teacher will require patience and confidence in your students, you play a crucial part in them developing independence and learning life skills. Your daily tasks will include creating a structured learning environment and positive, engaging lessons for all students. Each student will have varying individual needs and learning styles, meaning the successful candidate will be adaptable and versatile. The role includes monitoring students’ individual progress and areas of improvement in order to set ‘next steps’. Working as an SEN Teacher, your role is important in order to help students develop life skills and independence.
The school is recruiting a candidate who possesses QTS and experience teaching young people. Past experience working with students with additional needs would be beneficial.
