This ‘Outstanding’ school in Brentwood, are looking to appoint a dedicated and committed Humanities Teacher to work in a friendly and supportive Humanities department on a permanent basis. Working in this Secondary School as part of an established team, the desired Humanities Teacher will be planning and delivering lessons up to A-Level. This is an excellent opportunity for a Humanities Teacher with either a History or Geography specialism who is seeking a school with excellent behaviour and supportive SLT. The school promotes a positive environment where students and Humanities teachers can thrive academically, personally and spiritually. This school offers free on-site parking and also has transport links via regular bus routes and Elizabeth Line.
Requirements
The desired Humanities Teacher will;
Be able to create a safe and positive learning environment.
Be responsible for assessing students against learning outcomes and ensuring all groups of students make progress.
Be able to ensure that all groups of students at all key stages are appropriately challenged and supported to achieve their very best.
Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire students to explore their creativity and improve their critical thinking and analytical skills.
Have a good knowledge of the UK Curriculum.
PGCE in History or Geography with QTS and right to work in the UK.
Suitable for ECTs!
