STAFF NURSE, THE LEVEL, NOTTINGHAM, PERMANENT, 37HRS, AFC Band 5 £29,970 – £36,483
Are you looking for a new challenge?
Here at The Level Inpatient Detox Unit, we are looking for a full-time Band 5 Nurse to join our dedicated team. We are a trauma-informed, medically managed 20 bed detox facility in Radford, very near the centre of Nottingham.
Our programmes are delivered in a clinically safe and comfortable environment, providing service users with the medication and support they need to detox successfully and take control of their long-term recovery. The unique combination of our person-centred approach and broad staffing expertise enables us to successfully detox all types of clients, including complex cases.
We accept referrals from specialist community drug and alcohol teams or private enquirers located anywhere in the UK, and can accommodate up to twenty service users at any one time. Our team consists of nurses with backgrounds in both physical and mental health, GP's with a special interest in Substance Use, Support Workers and a Therapy Team.
About You:
You will ideally have a knowledge or an interest in substance use and the challenges substance use poses to our patients. You will be trauma-informed and able to treat patients with the care and respect they deserve. You will need to be reliable, consistent and able to work both day and night shifts on a 6-week Rota. You will be a great team player - not scared to question and be ready to advocate on behalf of your patients with both the internal team members and external agencies. Above all else you will display a level of kindness and unconditional positive regard to our patients.
