Health Care Assistant - Black Hill Consett Kelly Park Limited is a family run business founded in August 1994. We are Durham County Council’s preferred provider and are delighted to announce we have secured a 6-year contract with the local authority, providing domiciliary home care support to vulnerable adults and children across the county. We work in partnership with Skills for Care and Durham County Council’s Care Academy to continuously improve and develop the skills set of our staff, ensuring that we can meet the ever-changing needs of our service users. Encourage our service users to be actively involved in all aspects of their day-to-day care. Accompanying our service users to appointments and access their local community. Preparing meals and snacks to help sustain the service user’s nutritional needs. Tidying our service user’s home, assisting with basic domestic care tasks, ensuring their home environment is an enjoyable space for them. Assist in the support of personal care tasks, from bathing to pad changes and incontinence care. Location we hate commuting too we will do our best to provide clients as close to you as possible. For us, it is all about you We look for people who are: Trustworthy Compassionate Patient Adaptable Multiskilled (cooking & cleaning skills are a bonus) Along with a superhero personality, we also require a clear Enhanced DBS as well as two satisfactory references. Pay we will pay you £12.30 per hour week days, £12.50 weekends and £13.50 on bank holidays, we are offering Guaranteed contracted hours to enable job, financial security. Early Pay no waiting for payday thanks to our bespoke service, allowing you to access your pay when you need it. Mileage allowance paid. Pension scheme. Holidays 5.6 weeks per annum (pro-rata).
