Are you a qualified educator looking for an exciting opportunity that offers a better work-life balance? Teaching Personnel can help you find precisely what you're searching for!
We are expecting a high demand for supply teachers in March and beyond and are actively seeking individuals for both short and long-term positions.
Who is eligible to be a Supply Teacher?
Applicants must possess UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience spanning two Key Stages (EYFS and KS1 or KS1 and KS2). Strong behavior management skills and a flexible attitude are essential. Ideally, you should be available for work 2 to 5 days a week, have your own transportation, and be willing to commute up to 30 minutes.
What to anticipate as a Supply Teacher
Although most assignments will be scheduled in advance, there might be occasions when you receive calls between 7 am and 9 am for same-day work. While most schools provide daily lesson plans, it's advisable to have a variety of resources suitable for all age groups on hand. Working across different schools, you'll be expected to adhere to each institution's policies, assess and grade students' work, and provide detailed handover notes for the regular class teacher.
