We're looking for a Senior Design Manager to join our Natural Resources team. This role offers the flexibility of working from home and the Falmer office in East Sussex. You will be working on a new 7-year, c£1bn framework with Southern Water.

Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part-time hours may be available upon request
Responsibilities
* Develop strategies considering various alternatives to find the best solutions.
* Engage with clients to ensure full understanding of the design solutions and leverage asset management experience to propose improvements.
* Act as the main point of contact with design consultants at the director level to ensure technical performance standards are met.
* Lead and manage engineering design delivery for assigned projects.
* Provide expert engineering support throughout the project lifecycle, from definition through to handover.
What are we looking for?
This Senior Design Manager role is ideal if you have:
* Chartered Engineer status with a relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
* Proven experience in engineering design, construction, and management.
* Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and achieving performance targets.
* Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes.
* Experience with quality procedures and document control in engineering design.
