Sales Administrator
West Bromwich
Salary per annum: £24,000 to £30,000 (dependent on sales experience)
Permanent, full-time (36.5 hr week)
Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm / Friday 8am to 3pm
Are you an experienced Sales Administrator looking for a new opportunity and are local to West Bromwich? Salary is dependent on experience up to £30,000; this role will be suitable for someone who is a strong Administrator preferably with sales experience and is willing to help out in different departments when required as the team are close-knit, helping out when there is high demand or holiday cover for example, therefore this role requires all of the team to be flexible in their work approach.

Requirements for the Sales Administrator:
1. Minimum of 2 years as a strong administrator, sales experience is beneficial.
2. Motivated, organised, can work independently and as part of a team.
3. Flexible and adaptable as no two days are the same, Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, using initiative and ability to work proactively.
4. Outgoing and ability to build rapport with existing customers, confident in picking up the phone, dealing with enquiries or updating customers.
5. Strong administrative and customer service skills.
6. Good written and verbal communication across all levels of the business and to customers.
7. Strong Microsoft Office Packages Skills.
8. High levels of attention to detail and accuracy, whilst taking ownership of the task at hand.
9. Positive can-do attitude and ability to engender team spirit.
Key Responsibilities for the Sales Administrator:
10. Develop and maintain relationships with all existing customers over the phone.
11. All aspects of sales administration; raising purchase order data entry into systems, scheduling orders and updating customers on the progress of their orders. Following orders through making sure accuracy is maintained.
12. Answering incoming calls and monitoring emails in a timely manner.
13. All administrative tasks including daily paperwork and data entry.
14. Documenting daily stock checks and all necessary spreadsheets.
15. Provide weekly sales and production information to managers.
16. Reception cover during busy periods or holiday cover.
17. Ability to deal with difficult customers in a professional manner.
