The Role:
Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a thriving secondary school in Brighton. This role involves working closely with students who require additional support, helping them to engage in their learning and reach their full potential.
You will:
1. Support students with SEN, including those with ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs.
2. Implement behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
3. Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs to adapt lesson materials.
4. Provide one-to-one and small group support, both in and outside the classroom.
5. Foster students' confidence, resilience, and independence.
