An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Registration & Celebratory Services as a Ceremonies Host. Ceremonies Hosts work with our team of Ceremony Officers and Registrars to ensure that couples and their guests attending Marriages, Civil Partnerships and other discretionary ceremonies in Wakefield Town Hall and Pontefract Town Hall receive the highest standard of customer service.
Responsibilities:
As a Ceremonies Host your main role is to coordinate the arrival and departure of customers and their guests at ceremonies held in the Town Halls. Providing high levels of customer service to all and ensuring the smooth flow of ceremonies within the suite of ceremony rooms and waiting areas, to ensure the best possible experience for customers and their guests.
Requirements:
* Customer Service experience
* Efficient and well organised, with the ability to work as part of a team
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* First Aid Certificate (3-day course) or willingness to undertake training
* Evac Chair Certificate or willingness to undertake
* The post holder will be appointed to work across both sites. Ceremonies are seasonal and subject to service demand, which means the number of working days and hours will fluctuate. For details of the working hours, please refer to the Addendum to Contract.
