We are recruiting a Client Manager for an Accountancy firm based in Towcester, established in 2009 to provide first-class accounting and taxation services to owner-managed businesses and other organisations.
The Client Manager will be responsible for liaising directly with clients and be the first port of call to assist with their taxation and accounting needs. Experience of working in a practice is essential for this role. The successful candidate will be part or fully qualified ACCA or ACA with Audit experience. Key Responsibilities and Skills:
1. Experience of working in Practice is essential for this role.
2. Preparing accounts and tax returns.
3. First point of contact for a portfolio of clients.
4. Prepares accounts, corporation tax returns, and personal tax returns, to director review stage.
5. Liaises directly with clients to ensure we have all information to prepare accounts, and to address any queries or questions that come to light.
6. Assists various clients with their bookkeeping and VAT Returns.
7. Manages billing and work-in-progress for the portfolio.
8. Takes responsibility for workflow to ensure turnaround targets are met.
9. Carries out any other reasonable task required from time to time.
10. Exemplifies the business core values at all times.
11. Excellent communication and attention to detail.
12. Strong client management experience at a senior level.
13. Part qualified ACCA, ACA or fully qualified considered.
14. Experience with Xero advantageous.
