Head of Resourcing, Sales at Cavendish Maine
My client is one of the largest distributors of homewares in the UK, and they now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced National Sales Manager to join the team.
Their focus is to provide customers with fully bespoke homeware products, supported by outstanding customer service. They have over 900 customers in the UK, including independent retail, garden centre buying groups, and large national retailers.
The Role & Person
The sales team is the engine that drives their national reach. We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to maximise the potential of 7 sales account managers.
You will have an in-depth knowledge of, and experience with, the sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and closing deals.
We are seeking someone with a track record of success who can inspire the same in others. The role demands a leader with a sharp analytical mind and the ability to coach, advise, motivate, and support a team of sales account managers selling to independent retail.
You will be accustomed to using a solution sales approach whereby customer needs are central to the whole process. Presentable, polished, intelligent, and articulate, you will be commercially aware, goal-oriented, and self-driven.
Ideally, you are currently operating within the housewares, homewares, DIY, or garden sector, and you must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of the sector while managing and motivating a field sales team selling to independents.
