Position: Care Home Manager Location: Glasgow Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Care Home Manager to lead a 60-bed care home in Glasgow. The home provides exceptional care for residents with dementia, nursing, and residential care needs. With CI ratings of 3/4/5, this is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled manager to build on the home’s success, drive improvements, and deliver the highest standards of person-centered care. Responsibilities: Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding care and support for residents. Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, ensuring the home meets or exceeds CI requirements. Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs, promoting dignity, independence, and well-being. Oversee the financial performance of the home, including budgeting, staffing, and resource management. Manage recruitment, training, and performance of staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment. Build strong relationships with residents, families, external stakeholders, and local authorities. Conduct audits, risk assessments, and quality assurance to ensure continuous improvement across all areas of the service. Act as a key point of contact for inspectors, ensuring the home is prepared for any regulatory visits. Drive community engagement and promote the home’s reputation as a leading care provider in the area. Requirements: Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a care home setting. Strong understanding of CI regulatory standards and compliance. Experience managing services providing dementia, nursing, and residential care. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards completion). Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills. A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered care. Ability to manage budgets and meet financial targets effectively. Current registration with the NMC (preferred for nursing background).
