The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority is seeking to appoint a Cultural and Visitor Economy Lead to join the Cultural and Creative Economy Service team. Your key responsibilities in this role would be to ensure a focus on delivering the priorities of the Metro Mayor by:
* Lead the development and growth of the Cultural and Visitor Economy in the region, its businesses, and communities.
* Work corporately to identify the complex synergies/opportunities across the Combined Authority’s teams and across regional stakeholders under the umbrella of the emerging Local Growth Plan, our West of England Strategic Framework and the West of England Cultural Plan.
* Inspire, drive and support a cross-cutting work programme for the benefit of the region, and to identify funding opportunities and mechanisms for delivery.

Interviews will be held on the Wednesday 19th March 2025. The interviews will be competency-based and you will be asked to prepare a presentation for the interview.
To highlight, the salary range for this role is £55,734 to £60,940. It is standard policy to offer at the base of the band. As well as ensuring fairness, this allows for annual incremental rises within the tiered structure of this banding.
This is a two-year fixed term role.
