Role Summary
The Business Development Director (BDD) aims to grow the UKSS client base by securing IPOs and share register transfers from competitors. The BDD will foster relationships with advisors (investment banks, law firms, stock exchanges), lead a small team, and develop strategies to build a strong pipeline, manage leads, and secure new clients.
Core Duties/Responsibilities
The main duties include:
1. Leading the business development team to craft and execute sales strategies
2. Building and maintaining relationships with the advisor community
3. Identifying decision-makers and facilitating conversations at appropriate levels
4. Developing compelling proposals for IPOs and share transfers
5. Managing the sales pipeline and generating new leads
6. Owning and progressing key opportunities
7. Using insights to influence product and service development
8. Fostering internal stakeholder collaboration
9. Staying informed on EQ’s product, service, and operational updates
10. Using Salesforce effectively to manage sales processes
11. Maintaining quality and innovation in bid management
12. Ensuring relevant and regular client marketing communications
