Closing date is 21st March but we encourage early applications About the Role: We are seeking a Project Data Controller Lead to oversee project data control activities within our Energy and Infrastructure Market Facing Business Unit. This role is crucial in ensuring data integrity and efficient project lifecycle management. The chosen candidate will guide a team of Project Data Controllers, collaborating with key stakeholders across the business to maintain high-quality project data. As our first Project Data Controller Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Project Data Control function across all sectors and projects within the market facing business unit. Key Responsibilities: Data Integrity: Oversee the project data control function, ensuring accuracy and consistency across the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure. Advisory: Provide expert advice on project setup and configuration to support effective management and reporting. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve project setup and reporting issues using in-depth knowledge of Project Operations. Best Practice: Maintain consistency in service and evolve best practices in project data control, aligning with company Quality Standard Procedures. Communication: Engage with stakeholders across Sales, Delivery, Capability Dimensions, and Finance to ensure service effectiveness and continuous improvement. Line Management: Oversee and support the professional development of the Project Data Controller team. Resourcing: Manage team workloads to deliver an agile, high-quality service. Recruitment: Oversee hiring efforts to build and maintain a skilled team. Qualifications and Experience: Educated to Master’s level (Level 7) or equivalent experience. Advanced data analysis skills to support project configuration and reporting accuracy. Ability to guide a team, manage workloads, and develop staff capabilities. Experience in engaging with senior stakeholders to evolve project data services. In-depth understanding of project data requirements and company Quality Standard Procedures. Proficiency in PSA/Proj Ops & Fin Ops, with the ability to mentor new users. Extensive experience in consultancy or internal service provision. A broad understanding of market sectors and client needs within the business unit.
