Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Valves\n\nLocation: Field-Based (England, with travel across the territory)\n\nIndustry: Engineering / Industrial Automation / Process Control\n\nSalary: Competitive base + commission + company car + benefits\n\nThe Role:\nWe are working with a leading UK supplier of industrial flow control solutions to recruit an experienced Area Sales Manager. This is a field-based role covering the whole of England, where you’ll be responsible for managing existing accounts and driving new business growth across a wide range of industries including manufacturing, process, utilities, energy, and more.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers across the region\n\n * Identify new sales opportunities within your territory and convert them into long-term clients\n\n * Work closely with internal technical and customer support teams to deliver tailored solutions\n\n * Promote a wide range of valves, actuated valves, instrumentation, and flow control systems\n\n * Deliver product demonstrations and provide on-site technical advice when required\n\n * Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to quotation, negotiation, and close\n\n * Attend trade shows, customer visits, and networking events to raise brand awareness\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\n * Proven sales experience within the industrial engineering or process industries\n\n * Background in selling valves, fittings, flow control equipment, or associated products\n\n * Ability to work independently, manage your own diary, and deliver on sales targets\n\n * Comfortable presenting to technical and non-technical stakeholders\n\n * Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills\n\n * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
