Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven National Account Manager to join our long serving team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. We are looking to expand and improve our team with a new NAM to grow revenue from our already established national client base. The main responsibilities will be to maintain good client relationships, and will be to build trust and make creative suggestions to established clients to help develop the accounts in order that they use new products and solutions.
The goal will be to engage with the client base and find out what future opportunities would be coming up within the next quarter or for next 12 months in order to upsell new products or expand the volumes of products already being ordered.
The successful and established loyal client base is mostly made up of traditional outdoor/indoor event Printers and distributors - an established channel. Their customer base will be Household brands and National Retail or Festivals/Music/Sporting events/brands as well as large format advertising clients for buildings, transit vehicles and Retail window frontage and internal POS solutions.
This role is pivotal and you will be the friendly face where you will visit printers/distributors in predetermined parts of the UK. You will be able to manage your own diary and be able to work efficiently to maximise increase in revenues across the national accounts. Engaging with the top clients more frequently and less so with the smaller regional clients face to face. Using your organisational skills you will be able to speak to the clients regularly and will help drive channel sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure delivery of all financial targets, including revenue growing the client revenues by 10-20% customer volumes/displays and margin.
* Responsible for development of clear and compelling customer account plans, to drive profitable growth.
* Engage with prospective and existing customers to develop relationships, and grow revenue.
* Responsible for introducing new products to customers, and nurturing product penetration.
* Develop strong relationships with customers at all levels of the business.
* Develop a sound understanding of the software platform and become an ambassador for our Patented products.
* Ensuring consistency of message and branding across all external interfaces.
* Understanding our client base, their sectors and challenges to inform sales activities.
* Travel and as the business requires, to visit clients, such as sales meetings, training, exhibitions, conferences, etc.
Preferred Skills:
* Proven B2B Account/Client Management experience, ideally in Advertising, Printing, Signage or Media/Advertising.
* Good understanding of and aptitude to learn large format signage benefits.
* Ability to recount historical success with other well known events using the patented media application.
* Proven track record of meeting and exceeding client relationship management targets.
* Demonstrable and strong understanding of sales processes, techniques and approaches.
* Experience of both direct and indirect sales models would be preferred.
* Exceptional writing and communication skills.
* Good Business sense.
* Commercially adept and proven ability to manage pricing and commercials with customers.
* Inquisitive and driven individual who enjoys developing relationships, and delivering an increase in sales.
* Ability to work effectively in a cross functional team.
* UK/Ireland more than International sales experience is preferred.
* Strong PC skills, CRM management.
* Ability to work independently according to set priorities; delivering results quickly and unaided.
Duties:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and objectives.
* Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth within existing accounts.
* Communicate effectively with clients regarding product offerings, updates, and any issues that may arise.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met and exceeded.
* Prepare and deliver presentations to clients showcasing our products and services.
* Lead negotiations with clients to secure contracts and agreements that align with company goals.
* Monitor account performance and implement strategies for improvement as necessary.
* Provide regular reports on account status, sales performance, and market trends to senior management.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in account management or a similar role within a sales environment within Printing or Outdoor Media Advertising.
* Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
* Familiarity with CRM software is advantageous.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
