The Opportunity
Your projects will be diverse – working with varying clients, across a number of sectors, using a range of skills. Consequently, we are looking for individuals able to work flexibly across projects in different domains. You might apply your skills to rapidly prototype new approaches and solutions. Equally, you may apply them to complement or advance existing solutions.

You will be proficient in the understanding of wireless military communication networks and associated protocols and security architectures. Furthermore, be skilled in both the design, simulation and software implementation of such networks.

You will:
1. Provide systems engineering skills with regard to wireless military communication networks – specifically related to requirements analysis, design, simulation and implementation
2. Provide technical support to customer meetings
3. Apply and scale engineering processes effectively
4. Identify and collaborate with all stakeholders
5. Maintain awareness across the wireless military radio systems domain
6. Provide timely and accurate estimates for project deliverables and contribute to bids
Essential Skills:
7. Experience of simulating wireless communication networks
8. Ability to conduct research into future military networking
9. Knowledge of the military communication domain
10. Understanding of wireless military communication and/or civil network architectures, protocols and associated waveforms
Desirable Knowledge:
11. An understanding of Software Defined and Agile Networking
12. Understanding of the application of AI / ML to networking.
13. Experience of implementing wireless communication protocols
14. Knowledge of other defence disciplines, such as Electronic Warfare, Signals Intelligence, Radar, or GNSS.
15. Proficient or interest in software development
16. Knowledge of military network security architectures

Due to the nature of this position, candidates must already hold current SC Clearance or be willing and eligible to obtain this. To qualify, you should be a British Citizen and have resided in the UK for the last 5 years for SC and 10 years for DV.
