As an Imaging Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our CT and MRI radiographers, including pre-examination cannulation in both CT and MRI services across all our sites. Your primary objective will be to assist our radiographic staff in all non-nursing aspects of patient care in MRI/CT, including specialized procedures such as CT Colons and Cardiacs.

Person Specification
Knowledge Requirements
* Knowledge required through work experience. Knowledge of work procedures and practices having underpinned knowledge through NVQ 3 training - Health specific.
* Certificate of competence in IV injecting.
Qualifications - Academic/Craft/Professional
* A good standard of education.
* NVQ 3 Clinical Support.
* NVQ II in care.
Further Training
* Phlebotomy and cannulation. ECG recording.
* Any associated training related to healthcare.
Experience
* Experience of working in a healthcare setting.
* Previous experience in a radiology setting.
Contractual Requirements
* May be required to work evenings/weekends and bank holidays as part of the rota.
