Pentrehafod School is a thriving community-focused school that has served a wide area of Swansea East since 1976. Pentrehafod School is a growing school, and it is very much a school of choice for students within the Pentrehafod cluster. There are more than 1124 students on roll and we are proud to house a Specialist Teaching Facility (STF) providing support to students with speech and language needs; these young people are fully integrated into the daily life of the school. We are an inclusive school providing a wide range of opportunities, both within and beyond the curriculum, in a caring and supportive environment. Achievement of all kinds is valued and celebrated.
Pentrehafod School offers its students and the wider community state of the art learning and sporting facilities, providing a positive environment for everyone. Pentrehafod School benefits from excellent transport links along the M4 corridor and adjoining link roads.
Due to the promotion of our former Deputy Headteacher to the position of Headteacher, the Governors of Pentrehafod School wish to appoint a dynamic and inspirational leader who will continue to raise aspirations and ensure consistently outstanding learning opportunities and experiences for all students.
This role is an exciting opportunity for a new leader to build on our current success, develop a fresh perspective on whole-school improvement, and implement changes to enhance our student and staff experiences.
We are committed to developing as a learning organisation and take pride in being a strong community school. Pentrehafod School Governors are highly ambitious for their staff and students.
