The role is aligned to the design and development of advanced electronics control systems for off-highway machinery and will involve technically leading a small team. Furthermore, your role will involve the development of technical and product requirements, technical specifications, and validation plans. In addition, you will coordinate team activities and assist with project management of the projects you are responsible for delivering. Candidates with experience gained within the automotive or off-highway industries could do well.
Required Experience:
1. Full lifecycle (V model) systems engineering activities

7. Some experience with embedded software or model-based development (Matlab / Simulink)
8. Automotive or off-highway product design and process knowledge
Further Qualifications / Experience:
1. 6-8 years of post-academic experience in the automotive, aerospace, electronics, mechatronics, or similar product development environment
2. A degree in a relevant field (e.g. electronics, computer science, mechatronics, automotive engineering)
3. Product engineering experience with complex electromechanical systems based on embedded systems
4. Strong appreciation of systems design and the systems engineering cycle (V model)
5. Good practical engineering aptitude (e.g. software or hardware integration, hands-on problem solving)
6. Strong communication, organisation, and practical skills
7. Formal training within systems engineering
8. Evidence of innovation and creative problem solving for relevant engineering projects
9. Experience with embedded software development (embedded C) or model-based software development (Matlab / Simulink)
