Senior Installation and Methods Engineer Aberdeen or London, UK 12-month Renewable Contract Major Energy EPC About the Client The Client is a global leader in offshore engineering, construction, and services, specialising in subsea infrastructure for energy projects. About the Role The Client is seeking a Senior Installation and Methods Engineer to join the Pipeline Group on a contractual basis. As a minimum, the contractor will be expected to: Support a team of Method Engineers to follow project scope(s) from early engagement with our internal and external clients through to offshore execution on board our reel lay assets. Act as a technical reference for pipeline installation and contribute to the sub-contractors selection. Produce installation method statements and procedures, support procurement activities and subcontract follow up, proactively support HSEQ activities, and prepare and deliver technical presentations. Conduct installation rigging calculations and rigging design. Assist the Tendering department with feasibility studies, method statements, manhour estimates, schedule inputs, and costing support. Support installation aid procurement, fabrication, and testing follow up. Follow the work scope offshore on our installation vessels. About You The Client is flexible with their requirements, but are ideally seeking people who: Are degree qualified engineers. Possess extensive experience as an offshore Project Engineer or similar. Understand pipeline installation methods, especially reel lay. Can lead teams of engineers on various project scopes.
