Job Description
AGS Airports have recently embarked on an exciting journey to significantly grow our business through a combination of organic expansion and market development. The newly formed Strategy & Transformation team are pivotal to this by partnering internal and external stakeholders to articulate strategy, as well as transforming our assets and processes to deliver that strategy, ensuring we achieve our growth ambition.
The business change manager is a new role that will focus on implementing transformation initiatives across the group that align with AGS’ growth strategy. The role holder will work on a programme of projects across all airports and central functions. They will combine skills of creative innovative thinking, process improvement and project management to deliver effective and efficient business growth.
Principle accountabilities
* Use strong problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions that address process challenges and enhance operational performance.
* Analyse complex processes and identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and areas for improvement using data driven methods, such as Lean and Six Sigma principles.
* Conduct assessments to understand the impact of changes on various business functions and airports.
* This includes ability to use process mapping techniques to visualise workflows, understand current processes, and design optimised processes.
* Track the progress of change initiatives, report on outcomes and recommend adjustments as needed.
* Identify potential risk associated with change initiatives and develop mitigation strategies.
* Identify and engage stakeholders across the organisation to ensure buy-in and support for change initiatives.
* Commit to understand customer (internal and external) needs, ensuring business change enhance customer satisfaction and experience.
* Communicate clear expectations of change initiatives, working alongside key stakeholders to understand multiple needs, limitations and opportunities.
* Work closely with Internal Communications to promote change, while aligning tone and content to the culture of the organisation
* Be a champion for business transformation and business improvement.
Qualifications and experience
* Proficiency in project management methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor change programmes.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and drive delivery.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A track record in stakeholder management.
* Proficient in risk management, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues.
* Outstanding problem-solving skills, capable of thinking creatively to overcome challenges.
* Experience in delivering projects in regulated environments.
* Innovative mindset, with drive to improve business performance.
* Engaging and self-motivated, with the ability to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment
Framework and boundaries
The role is an important contributor to the AGS Strategy and Transformation function. The role holder is expected to be able to operate with a degree of autonomy as a trusted manager, working closely with the senior leaders across the organisation.
