Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation Apprentice
Salary: £22,048 per annum plus Veolia benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Location: Veolia Newhaven ERF, North Quay Road, Newhaven, BN9 0AB
Programme Duration: up to 42 months
Candidate shortlisting will take place on w/c 17th - 24th March and assessment days will take place between w/c 31st March - 7th April

Apprenticeship Programme;
During this programme, we'll help you develop your practical and behavioural skills and support you in gaining the technical and professional knowledge required for you to succeed in your career.
As well as this, you'll also gain a Level 3 Instrumentation and Control Engineering BTEC, NVQ Competency Certificate and safety training.
We encourage you to apply even if you feel overqualified, as we may consider offering a higher apprenticeship level depending on your individual circumstances.
With many of our colleagues starting as apprentices, you'll receive full support and guidance from everyone throughout.
By the end of your apprenticeship, you'll have received industry-standard training and attained qualifications that will enable you to progress and reach your full potential.
What you'll be doing;
As an Engineer at one of our ERFs, you'll have an opportunity to work with the state of the art technologies and challenging targets. You'll maintain our workshop, solve diverse problems, and ensure everything meets Veolia's safety standards. It's a dynamic role where no two days are the same, you'll constantly learn and grow while helping turn waste into energy.
* You will be exposed to all aspects of the process from plant operating techniques to preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs
* You will be involved in various plant efficiency improvements which will require you to develop new skills and integrate new equipment on site
* Identify and fix faults on operation plant and equipment
* Working in compliance with technical specifications and supporting documentation
What we're looking for;
* A minimum of 4 GCSEs Grade 4/C (or equivalent) achieved or predicted, including Maths, English & preferably Science
* Ability to follow health and safety policies and procedures and willing to challenge unsafe behaviour
* Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new skills
* Good Interpersonal Skills
* Ability to work with others
* Full UK driving licence (Desirable)
