Dawsongroup EMC ¦ is the UK’s leading supplier of self-drive municipal, industrial, and specialist vehicles for contract hire. As a Field Service Engineer your role will be to maintain repair and respond to issues in the fleet of vehicles in your area.
Position Overview:
The Field Service Engineer will focus on the servicing, maintenance of specialist vehicles and other company equipment, you will be responsible for:
* Fault diagnosis, repair and routine maintenance of specialist vehicles and other company equipment.
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer, and industry guidelines.
* Keeping up to date with administrative responsibilities ensuring that all routine maintenance or repair work is subject of an accurate and timely written report.
* Evaluating, modifying, and preparing machines for hire at Dawsongroup EMC depots and customers locations.
* First Line Repair, Fault Reporting for second line repairs and providing technical advice to third party engineers where required.
To be successful Field Service Engineer will hold:
* A City and Guilds/ONC level 3 qualification or equivalent
* Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical circuits, gearboxes or sweeper vehicles.
* Have a great level of communication skills and customer service with the ability to demonstrate the values and ethics of Dawsongroup plc
* Have a flexible and adaptable approach to your role and be able to work well on your own initiative with minimum supervision.
* Hold a Full, Clean UK driving licence.
