Responsibilities:
1. Monitor stock and administrative operational activities ensuring that contractual obligations for the customer are achieved and generating solutions for improvement where necessary.
2. Plan and assist the department in all stock counts and audits of inventory ensuring integrity is maintained at all times.
3. Communicate with the stock manager on a day-to-day basis whilst delivering any agreed actions required to keep the operation efficient, including discrepancy resolution and management of customer service issues.
4. People management including performance management, absence management and development of the team including coaching and mentoring.
Qualifications:
1. A proven track record as a team leader/first line manager within a fast-paced warehouse environment, with a specific focus on stock and inventory.
2. A strong knowledge of stock management processes including demonstrable experience of using WMS systems.
3. Adaptability when working in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment with excellent planning skills.
4. The ability to take responsibility and demonstrate commitment by leading by example.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a Stock and Inventory First Line Manager to join our Dunelm site in Stoke. Supporting the Stock and Inventory Shift Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the Stock and PI teams enabling them to meet objectives, encouraging open communication as well as effectively resolving any issues and queries related to stock.
Employment Details:
This is a full time, permanent position, where you'll be working an 'any 5 from 7' day shift pattern, the hours of work will be 06:00 - 14:00.
