This position is specifically tailored to accommodate the unique needs of a 25-year-old male with learning disabilities and Autism. As a care support worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the individual's quality of life by providing personalised care and assistance. Key Responsibilities: Establish a trusting and supportive relationship. Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks. Create a positive and inclusive environment that encourages the social and emotional wellbeing of your service user Provide support during community outings and activities. Enabling people to communicate with others and sometimes advocating for them. Supporting people to manage their finances. Offering support when they are distressed and/or displaying behaviour that challenges. The ideal candidate will have: Compassion and patience Experience or willingness to learn about working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow and implement care plans effectively. Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the individual's changing needs. We are offering both 0 hour contracts and full time guaranteed hours of up to 40hrs per week. Working hours are shifts of 7am-3pm, 3pm-10pm & 10pm–7am (sleeping nights) including alternate weekends. We are looking for both day time carers and overnight carers. What we can offer you: Hourly rates of £13.00 per hour weekdays & £16.00 on weekends for 0 hour contracts. Sleeping nights rates of £50.00 per shift Salaries of up to £26,665.60 per annum with hourly rates of up to £15.00 per hour.
