Assistant Project Manager : High Wycombe
Were seeking a highly motivated and detail:oriented Assistant Project Manager to join a construction company in High Wycombe. Youll work alongside experienced project managers, assisting in the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects for the UK Defence Sector.
Competitive salary of GBP40,000 : GBP50,000 per annum + Car allowance.
Responsibilities:
* Support Project Managers on a variety of projects, from initial concept to operational service, within the full project life cycle.
* Contribute to planning, managing, and coordinating projects in line with strict governance.
* Help ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
* Present project designs and progress to clients, customers, and end users.
* Collaborate with the supply chain to develop projects from the initial scoping phase through the RIBA phases to RIBA 7.
* Write detailed project scopes and gain client approval.
* Report to clients and customers on project progress, risks, and opportunities.
Requirements:
* Background in Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civils.
* CSCS card or the ability to obtain one.
* An understanding of health and safety, with the ability to gain IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications.
* Current or recent High Level Security Clearance.
* Be a UK Sole National and be prepared to undergo further clearance processes.
* Exceptional communication skills to interact with clients, subcontractors, designers, and military personnel.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* A positive and proactive attitude and willingness to support the wider delivery team.
* Understanding of the RIBA phases.
* Strong commercial awareness and experience in managing a supply chain.
