As the Head of Partnership Ecosystem, you will lead one of the firm’s core pillars: building and scaling our partner network. For Continuum, Partners are how we deploy capital and resources through strategic agreements, utilizing organizational talent to deliver direct services and capacity building across technology, talent development, investor readiness, and communications.
Your role is to craft the strategy, systems, and agreements that anchor partnerships in clearly defined metrics, driving measurable impact and fostering collaboration over silos. This position requires senior-level expertise in ecosystem building, exceptional project and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution. You will establish foundational frameworks for partnership management, build and manage a partner ecosystem board, oversee deliverables linked to payments (tied to agreements), and ensure alignment with the firm’s mission and impact goals.
In addition to building the department, you will recruit and lead a team of 1–2 staff members and activate a volunteer ecosystem to extend capacity and scale impact.
Requirements
Core Skills:
* Proven Experience: Demonstrated success in building and managing ecosystems or large-scale partnerships.
* Expertise in Systems: Strong skills in designing agreements, developing monitoring frameworks, and linking payments to deliverables.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders, including service providers, funders, and ventures.
* Strategic & Hands-On Balance: Ability to combine strategic vision with practical execution, particularly in early-stage systems development.
* Project Management Excellence: Exceptional project management capabilities with a proven track record of delivering measurable outcomes.
* Team Leadership: Success in building and managing teams, including the effective coordination of volunteers.
* Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with capacity development, venture support, or philanthropy sectors is highly desirable.
* Communication Skills: Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities.
Role Requirements:
* Minimum of 7 years in strategic partnership, organizational leadership, and membership management in a values driven enterprise.
* Advanced proficiency with CRM systems and project management tools.
* Strategic thinker with attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
* Demonstrated success in building partnership networks.
* Experience in developing and maintenance of onboarding tools, service level agreements, and shared mission frameworks.
* Ability to travel to all countries where Continuum funds have an operational presence including the U.S., U.K., Turkey and UAE.
* Experience working in a start-up or V.C. environment
