Description
We are looking for a KYC Quality Controller / SME to join our Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) team to support our client in a large scale KYC (Know Your Client) project. You will be part of our KYC Managed Service Team, located in our offices in Wrexham (UK) and responsible for signing off KYC files (completed by KYC analysts) to meet client specific SLAs and operational execution and efficiency. This role requires an individual to be a KYC SME across a range of jurisdictions and entity types, to have experience of delivering high quality work within project deadlines, and the proven ability to apply a consistent approach to KYC processes whilst adhering to regulatory requirements and client procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Performing sign off/QC for KYC files and responsible for ensuring KYC records, screening, client outreach and any other client requirements are completed in line with client expectations and contractual service level agreements (SLAs)
2. Ensuring the quality of the team’s KYC files and any other output is of a high standard
3. Assisting with the delivery of training and configuration of guidance materials where needed
4. Acting as first point of contact for file escalations and issues from the KYC Analysts providing solutions / guidance / best practice
5. Acting in an SME capacity for the project team
6. Proactively engaging with key stakeholders to deliver project work within agreed SLAs
7. Capacity management, including prioritisation of workload in accordance with client needs and agreed SLAs
8. Assisting in defining procedures, processes, standards and best practices to ensure efficiency / continuous improvement
9. Working with the team to identify any material trends for ongoing quality and cycle time improvement
10. Promoting and developing a strong culture within the team and embedding the Delta Capita values
Requirements
11. Extensive experience in roles within the AML/KYC spaceDemonstrable QC/QA experience delivering high quality work Strong working knowledge of UK / EU / US KYC/AML regulations KYC SME level knowledge across low to high risk jurisdictions and both complex and non-complex structures / and a broad range of entity types Proven experience of PEPs, Sanctions and Negative Media screening (including both initial and ongoing screening) Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands Strong attention to detail Strong knowledge and experience of best practices in building and maintaining KYC processes Understanding of key controls, compliance/AML, investigation functions in the banking industry Excellent understanding of the end-to-end KYC and client on-boarding processes A working knowledge of financial services corporate banking product offering Excellent communicator, able to effectively and professionally communicate with stakeholders and clients both verbally and in written form Experience in a client-facing role Must have previous file sign off experience Experience working within investment and corporate banking or a services provider environment

13. Experience running MI and general reporting with a solid grasp of technology and it’s use within the KYC space

This is a fixed term contract/permanent full time position located in Wrexham. Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client’s policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our client’s now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require. However, some of our clients have now moved up to 4 days and even 5 days in the office and we require candidates to be flexible to meet our client demands.
