My client, a premier provider of serviced apartments in London, Bristol and Milton Keynes. We are seeking a proactive and experienced individual to oversee the maintenance operations across our London portfolio.
Objective of the Role
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring all serviced apartments are maintained to the highest standards. You will deliver excellent service and resolve issues promptly. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a commitment to quality.
Main Duties:
• Supervise and perform general maintenance tasks across all serviced apartments.
• Respond to maintenance issues promptly and be on-call as required.
• Coordinate with plumbers, electricians, and other contractors to ensure efficient completion of maintenance and repair works.
• Paint and decorate apartments.
• Manage suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor budget compliance for maintenance and health & safety equipment.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance and health & safety protocols.
• Keep back of house areas in a tidy condition
• Stock checks
• Check apartments and communal areas and report back any maintenance issues.
• Monitor utilities usage and implement energy-efficient solutions where possible.
• On the odd occasion, be available to help guests with maintenance issues outside of working hours.
• Set and uphold high standards of work ethic, personal presentation, punctuality, and attendance for the maintenance team.
Ideal Candidate will have:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within property management or hospitality.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent knowledge of health & safety regulations.
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Electric and plumbing qualifications preferred.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules
• Hours: Mon to Fri 8.30am to 5pm however, you will be expected to handle emergency issues in the evening if they are reported.
• Valid driver's license: scooter or motorbike license preferred as many tasks will be on sites across London.
• Candidates must live in London
