Mostell Logistics are looking to recruit a Transport Administration Assistant.
The overall purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to the Transport Admin Supervisor and Transport Management Team to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Transport Department.
The role requires a candidate with keen attention to detail, good communication skills and an excellent attitude towards work.
Key Result Areas:
Customer Service
1. Booking in deliveries – phone and internet
2. Liaising with customers reference deliveries
3. Dealing with customer queries
4. Booking outside Transport
5. Driver Liaison – Dealing with drivers queries and proof of Deliveries
6. Checking Drivers Folders for Discrepancies
7. Investigating Discrepancies
8. Filling in Return Log and notifying relevant department via email
9. Making sure all drivers folders and delivery notes are returned
10. Making sure a fridge print out is attached to truck sheet
11. Updating Truck Sheet Reconciliation
12. Access customer websites and retail link to print goods received notes.
13. Check all pods are signed and correct when returned along with outside transport invoices.
General Administration
1. Scanning and renaming Customer POD’s
2. Distribute Paperwork from Despatch.
3. Photocopying
Outside Transport
1. Check POD has been returned
2. Ensure that the company has been charged for the correct amount of pallets
3. Gather invoice values
4. Input information onto spreadsheet once invoices are passed.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time hours – Monday to Friday 9am till 5 pm
