Domiciliary Care Assistant
Location: Mayott House, Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Pay rate: £12.54 per hour
Weekend enhancements available
Contracted Hours: Bank
Shifts: 7am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Extra Care Housing schemes, also known as assisted living, consist of self-contained one or two-bedroom apartments, designed to help clients live independently. Clients can come and go as they please, socialise with neighbours or enjoy privacy. Our care teams are available round the clock to support clients with daily tasks and activities; this is known as domiciliary care.
As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will make a real difference to our clients every day by supporting them with their daily routines, personal care, providing companionship, and assisting with light household duties. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring they lead happy and fulfilled lives. All clients live in the same building, so you won’t need to travel between different locations.
In joining us, you’ll become part of our extended family. You’ll work alongside team members who are passionate about providing care, warmth, and kindness to all those who live and work in our schemes. If you've worked in retail, hospitality, or the warehouse industry, this could be suitable for you.
Mayott House is a 40-bedroom Extra Care Housing scheme situated in Abingdon, rated Good by the Care Quality Commission.
