Job description:
We are seeking a talented, energetic, self-starter for an Infrastructure Engineer position in our London office. The successful candidate will leverage the latest tools and concepts to provide infrastructure engineering and operational support across the enterprise. This role is focused on maintaining and enhancing the firm's current infrastructure landscape, with ongoing consideration on how emerging technologies could enhance operation efficiency or resiliency. A basic understanding of financial markets and trade lifecycles is a plus.
Responsibilities:
1. Deployment, configuration, management and troubleshooting of on-prem and cloud hosted technology infrastructure, including but not limited to:
o Switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, WAPs
o Compute and storage infrastructure
o Cloud IaaS / PaaS services
o Infrastructure-as-code (IAC) tools
o Voice and video conferencing hardware and software
2. Overseeing and implementing infrastructure hardware/software lifecycle management.
3. Maintaining documentation and enforcing secure system policies.
4. General Windows server administration and troubleshooting.
5. Escalation point for end-user support issues in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
6. Participating in an off hour on-call rotation and occasional weekend work.

Experience:
1. 8+ years of experience in an infrastructure-focused role with exposure to end-user support.
2. Exposure to issue tracking and change management processes.
3. Exposure to the following technologies a plus:
o Azure IaaS / PaaS
o Cisco IOS and CUBE
o FortiGate
o Nutanix HCI
o PowerShell / Python
o SSO / SAML / OAuth
o Terraform / IaC Tools
o Zoom Meetings / Rooms / Phone
