Essential Requirements: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a local Government / housing / regeneration or academic environment.
The Role:
Delivery of new housing and the development of housing related services is a top priority at a local, regional and national level making this a really exciting time to work in Strategic Housing at Bolton Council.
The primary purpose of the role is to have lead responsibility for the initiation, development and delivery of key component parts of the Housing Strategy and ensure these are integrated into wider agendas, providing direction and support for the delivery of housing and related services to meet the significant challenges we currently face.
About You:
Working as part of a wider team you will have the ability to apply complex research techniques and make a significant contribution to strategy and policy development.
You will require excellent communication skills including written, verbal and presentational and be able to initiate, develop and support partnerships/networks to influence outcomes. Excellent project management skills are essential along with the ability to initiate and deliver innovative and effective service initiatives.
