About the Role (Part-Time Permanent): Delivering engaging and stimulating Geography lessons across the curriculum, potentially catering to Key Stage 3 (Years 7-8) and/or Key Stage 4 (Years 9-11). Creating a stimulating and well-resourced learning environment that promotes critical thinking, problem-solving and a love of geographical exploration. Contributing to the ongoing development of the Geography curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the school's vision and the National Curriculum. Building strong relationships with students and fostering their confidence and enthusiasm for Geography. Participating in departmental and whole-school events, contributing to the wider school community (pro-rated for part-time role). The Ideal Candidate: A qualified Geography teacher with a demonstrable track record of success in engaging students. Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring a love of Geography and the world. Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to deliver innovative and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
