IT SYSTEMS ANALYST JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced IT Systems Analyst to join this growth-focused organization, with head offices in Poole. With a primary focus on providing overall IT support to a number of internal stakeholders, maintaining, writing, and managing internal business systems and reporting, the ideal candidate will be a good team player, who enjoys working with others, is self-motivated, and confident in their ability to learn on the job, in a very agile, fast-paced environment.
IT SYSTEMS ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Reporting to the IT Manager, and working alongside a small but agile IT team, the ideal candidate will be managing and configuring software applications, as well as supporting the wider business with queries, mostly on the software side.
* Installing or updating, supporting, configuring, and maintaining internal systems and reports.
* Logging, monitoring, and updating tickets on the IMS (internal management system).
* Managing and configuring software and hardware.
* Setting up new user accounts and access permissions.
* Updating and creating Qlik / SQL / ODBC reports.
* Maintaining systems and monitoring performance.
* Creating and maintaining technical documents, manuals, and IT policies.
* Working with the wider IT team on ad-hoc projects and other associated implementation projects.
* Supporting internal users on a number of internal CRM / ERP and other software packages – troubleshoot, training, updates, etc.
* Working with end users to understand their requirements, gathering information required to translate and update reporting systems, to work efficiently for all users at various levels.
IT SYSTEMS ANALYST KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
* Previous experience of working in an IT team, within either a business systems / IT support or similar role.
* Previous experience of SQL / MySQL / Qlik / QlikView or other similar – ideal, but not essential as training can be provided.
* Experience of working on in-house CRM / ERP packages would be ideal.
* Strong Excel / VBA / ODBC skills are ideal.
* A technical mindset, genuine interest in IT, and the ability to work collaboratively within a small team – essential.
