The Role: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Lead Veterinary Nurse to join a thriving veterinary practice in West London. This role is ideal for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) looking to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.
The Candidate:
* The practice is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised RVN with at least two years of post-qualification experience within the practice.
* The Lead Nurse will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest clinical standards, supporting the practice’s growth, and working closely with the Head Vet to oversee patient care.
* This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously within a small but busy practice.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Overseeing and managing patient flow for maximum efficiency.
* Implementing and adhering to practice policies to maintain outstanding patient and client care.
* Carrying out key nursing duties, including nurse consultations, inpatient care, anaesthesia, and assisting with procedures.
* Supporting and mentoring Patient Care Assistants and Student Veterinary Nurses (Clinical Coach qualification is desirable but not essential).
* Collaborating with the experienced client care team, including a Lead Client Care Assistant (CCA) who oversees non-clinical operations.
* This position provides an excellent opportunity for a nurse looking to take on a leadership role while continuing to work in a hands-on clinical capacity.
