About the Role
Ramsay Health Care UK is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Community Pharmacist to join our team at the Berkshire Independent Hospital in Reading. This is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist to provide clinical pharmacy services to inpatient wards and outpatient departments.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be a member of the pharmacy team, providing a clinical pharmacy service that promotes the safe, effective, and economical use of medicines. Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing an exemplary pharmacy service in accordance with current legislation, professional standards, and clinical requirements.
2. Advising hospital departments on safe medication management, ensuring compliance with current legislation and professional standards.
3. Promoting a multidisciplinary approach to delivering high-quality healthcare services.
4. Participating in the clinical ward pharmacy service, covering inpatient wards and outpatients.
5. Delivering a clinical pharmacy service to defined clinical areas, including drug history taking, medication reconciliation, and discharge counseling.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a Degree in Pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). A willingness to undertake clinical training is also essential.
