About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Water Industry Specialist to join our team at Murray McIntosh. This role will involve collaborating with the Thames supply chain and overseeing multidisciplinary professionals throughout the project lifecycle.
As a key member of our team, you will review and manage design outputs to ensure alignment with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. You will also identify and address project risks, consistently upholding safety, health, and environmental standards on-site.
The successful candidate will have previous water industry experience (minimum 2 years) and hold relevant qualifications such as Mechanical/Electrical Qualifications (BTEC/HNC/ONC/BEng). A full UK drivers licence and certifications like CSCS, SSSTS, Confined Spaces will be an advantage.
This is a permanent opportunity with a salary up to £65,000 per annum, offering a hybrid working arrangement of approximately 45 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Thames supply chain and oversee multidisciplinary professionals
* Review and manage design outputs for alignment with project specifications
* Identify and address project risks while maintaining safety and environmental standards
* Prepare project progress reports and maintain detailed project records
* Track project budgets and expenditures, providing cost analyses
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous water industry experience (minimum 2 years)
* Full UK drivers licence
* Mechanical/Electrical Qualifications (BTEC/HNC/ONC/BEng)
* CSCS, SSSTS, Confined Spaces certifications
Bonus: Previous experience delivering Thames Water Projects and holding a Thames Water passport will be advantageous.
EUSR - Water Hygiene Card and DSEAR Knowledge/COMPEX Qualifications will also be considered as valuable assets in this position.
