An opening has arisen to work as part of the onsite APCOA Management team at Luton Airport. You will manage a team which consists of a Supervisor, Team Leader, and Service Delivery Assistants. The team also includes cleaners and Maintenance Technicians, along with PCV drivers. This role is integral in ensuring an excellent level of service is provided across all areas of APCOA responsibility whilst operating within financial expectations.
What you’ll do:
1. Plan, prepare and allocate staff across the entire operation, ensuring resources are deployed to the areas of most need during the working day.
2. Organize, manage, and motivate your team including any casual staff across the APCOA operation.
3. Agree daily with Service Delivery Supervisor a plan of action to deploy resources to the areas most needed during the working day.
4. Monitor the performance of staff and confirm the team are effectively running the operation at all times across the site.
5. Monitor and report the SLA performance of the service provided by APCOA.
6. Staff management including recruitment, absence and sickness monitoring, relevant disciplinary action, payroll and training.
7. Budgeting and revenue reporting.
8. Maintain high levels of customer service ensuring all complaints are dealt with in a timely manner and responding directly to customers.
9. Provide support to upper management when required.
What you’ll bring:
1. Recent and extensive team management experience.
2. Extensive customer service experience.
3. Experience with budgeting and financial reporting.
4. Experience with people management, payroll, and absence monitoring.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Excellent working knowledge of MS Office.
