Role Outline Health Partners have an exciting new opportunity for a Wellbeing Advisor to join our dynamic, growing multidisciplinary team to support the on-site health and wellbeing service at one of our well-known key client's sites, based in Govan and Scotstoun (Scotland). This is a full time, on-site role, where the successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week between Monday to Friday. Reporting directly to one of our Senior Wellbeing Physiologists, the successful candidate will be supporting in the delivery of musculoskeletal focused and health coaching programs on-site, working closely with the client ensuring business objectives and needs are met, whilst maintaining Health Partners' goals and CORE values. As part of your varied role as a Wellbeing Advisor, you'll have a range of engaging duties, such as: • Delivering health screening assessments to patients. • Conducting individual and group health and wellbeing interventions. • Providing tailored evidence-based advice based on patient health profiles and behavioural change stages. • Formulating and implementing action plans according to treatment prescriptions and change stages. • Supporting patients with lifestyle-induced diseases in making sustainable lifestyle choices for chronic condition management. • Offering best practice guidance on nutrition and exercise to employees, supporting positive lifestyle changes. • Assisting and reassuring clients during medical tests. • Delivering evidence-based exercise sessions for individuals and groups at varying levels of fitness. • Leading group-based functional rehabilitation programmes aimed at building autonomy. • Collaborating with the wider multidisciplinary clinical team to design innovative occupational health programmes. • Using specialised equipment for clinical physiological tests, recording and analysing data. • Interpreting clinical data, assessing clinical risk, and escalating to GP or OH practitioners if needed. • Supporting and delivering educational workshops and health & wellbeing webinars. • Supporting the design of health promotion campaigns informed by organisational data. • Managing the clinical diary with support from the Senior Wellbeing Physiologist. • Presenting clinical and utilisation data to stakeholders. • Facilitating the correct set-up for client appointments and events. • Encouraging personal accountability for health and wellbeing among clients. • Serving as a role model, ambassador, and team player for health and wellbeing, promoting a culture that prioritises health and wellbeing. • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge through research and continuing education. Qualifications and Skills Required: • Qualified to degree level or equivalent in Sports Science/Health Science/Exercise Physiology/Sports Therapy. • Qualifications in Level 2 Gym Instructing, Level 3 Personal Training and Level 3 Exercise Referral. • Previous experience in sport, medical, health, wellbeing or fitness environment or studied human physiology, exercise, biochemistry, anatomy/biomechanics, psychology or nutrition. • An understanding of health risks in the workplace and the impact on work. • Experience of delivering health assessments or have knowledge of clinical measures. • Experience of delivering health interventions to individuals/groups. • Knowledge of progression and regression of exercises to meet the needs of the patient and injury. • Experience working with diverse populations, including people with chronic illnesses, disabilities, and mental health conditions. • Demonstrates a clear understanding of professional accountability in the scope of professional practice. • Excellent communicator, with a proactive and positive approach. • Passionate about improving individuals’ health and wellbeing. • Excellent skills in diary management and communication. Desirable qualifications and skills: • Familiarity with coaching software and technology, such as health tracking apps and telehealth platforms. • Qualified to a master’s degree level in Sports Science/Health Science/Exercise Physiology/Sports Therapy.
