Credit Structuring and Execution Executive/Manager
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Specialised & Asset Finance desk within the Commodities and Global Markets Division, where you will be instrumental in supporting the structuring and execution of mid to large ticket, structured, asset finance transactions across EMEA.
At Macquarie, our advantage is bringing together diverse people and empowering them to shape all kinds of possibilities. We are a global financial services group operating in 34 markets and with 55 years of unbroken profitability. You'll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drives outcomes.
What role will you play?
You will work closely with transaction directors and clients in the structuring and delivery of complex transactions across a wide range of industries including Mining, Technology & Telecoms, Energy, Waste & Recycling and Opportunistic Credit.
You will assess and analyse new transaction opportunities, assist with the preparation of term sheets and pitch decks, and build financial models. You will support the execution of new transactions by preparing internal credit papers, managing internal approval workstreams and reviewing due diligence materials and financing documents.
Transactions are typically leases or asset-based loans; however, the desk will also consider investing across the capital structure on an ad hoc basis.
What you offer

* Strong written and oral communication skills and an ability to develop and maintain close working relationships
* Sound business judgement and analytical skills with an ability to form a view on the strengths and weaknesses of transactions
* Familiarity with loan and lease documentation
* Highly articulate and organised with strong attention to detail
