Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener/Landscaper/Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of landscaping and a keen eye for detail. As a Gardener, you will play a vital role in maintaining and creating the beauty and health of our gardens and outdoor spaces. This position requires both physical stamina and creativity, as you will be responsible for various gardening and driving tasks that contribute to the overall aesthetic and functionality of the business.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, weeding, and mulching to ensure gardens are healthy and visually appealing.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various gardening activities.
- Irrigate plants and manage watering schedules to promote optimal growth.
- Assist in the growing of plants, flowers, and vegetables, ensuring proper care and attention is given to each species.
- Conduct regular groundskeeping duties such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and maintaining pathways.
- Monitor plant health and identify any pests or diseases that may affect the garden's integrity.
- Collaborate with team members to plan garden layouts and seasonal planting strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in gardening tasks.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and techniques for effective watering.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while performing physical tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with an appreciation for aesthetics in garden design.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 50 per week
