Responsibilities
The EMEA Health & Safety Manger is responsible for:
* Ensuring all regulatory health and safety requirements are maintained to a minimum standard.
* Ensuring that a strategic plan is created, implemented, and then maintained across EMEA.
* To analyze incidents, near misses with root cause analysis investigations and to provide sound and substantive corrective actions.
* Managing HSE in cooperation with local management as to guarantee compliance with EU and National rules & regulations, Group policies & procedures.
* Collecting and managing HSE data for KPI reporting purposes.
* Improving safety and health by promoting and recommending preventive and/or protective means in process installations, machinery and workplace lay-outs.
* To create a behavioral focus around safety across all office locations, wash sites and warehouses.
* To ensure all risk assessments and work instructions are implemented and followed across all TOSCA locations within EMEA.
* Collaborating with local country Operations Directors to ensure that all legal minimum standards are being implemented and followed.
* Identify risks in the workplace related to labor safety and occupational health.
* Organize and perform internal cross audits and ensure continuous improvements of the HSE management systems in place.
* Share and propose new working methods, best available techniques and practices.
* Coordinate and implement different HSE projects.
Education and experience
* Minimum 7 years of work experience within a senior role within Health & Safety.
* Understanding of an automated environment with process and machine management.
* Background in FMCG or a Food Environment would be advantageous.
* IOSH and NEBOSH or equivalent qualified.
* Experience of operating within Europe amongst different cultures.
