The Leicestershire Nutrition and Dietetic Service are excited to offer a vacancy for an efficient Support Team Assistant with excellent computer and communication skills to work in our friendly Home Enteral Nutrition Team, supporting people who require tube feeding. Main duties of the job The Home Enteral Nutrition Service is involved in the day-to-day management of the nutritional care of individuals requiring tube feeding in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The role will involve speaking to patients and health professionals on the telephone on a daily basis therefore applicants will be able to speak clearly and have a confident professional telephone manner. The post holder will be proficient with using computers to register patients confidential details, to arrange appointments and to generate clinical correspondence. The post holder will also be required to update Excel and other electronic systems. The post holder will need to have excellent administration skills and will have legible handwriting. The HENS team is part of the Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) Nutrition and Dietetic Service, and provides services to adult and paediatric patients resident in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland who require Enteral Nutrition at home. The LPT Nutrition and Dietetic service as a whole covers a broad scope of dietetic work in addition to Home Enteral Nutrition, including adult and paediatric outpatient clinics, domiciliary visits, inpatients, mental health and learning disabilities, specialist weight management services, and work with nurseries and schools.
